Dean Staley is the recipient of 12 Emmys. He has also been awarded three prestigious Edward R. Murrow awards, one for ‘Best Documentary’, one for his coverage of the Iraq War, and one for breaking the story days before the 2004 presidential election of unguarded explosives at the Al QaQa weapons facility in Iraq. Staley has won a First Place Page One award for Magazine News Feature from the Society of Professional Journalists.
